Andrea Communications USB-C Audio Adapter is an external soundcard that accepts both computer headsets with pink and green plugs and mobile headsets with a single black plug (TRRS), as well as microphones with either TRRS or TRS plugs and external speakers.
The USB-C Audio Adapter uses high-quality digital circuitry to bypass the computer’s internal sound system. Internal sound cards are often placed near noisy components, such as power supplies and processors, which can generate audible noise affecting the performance of your headset, microphone, or speakers.
The USB-C Audio adapter converts the analog audio signal to digital. The result is increased clarity and performance of both the mono microphone input and stereo speaker output for all digital audio applications, including VoIP and speech recognition programs.
